golden glow...

Early morning light makes such a nice golden glow on everything... it's so much easier to get up in the morning when the sun fills the room. Although there's been a few thunderstormy days here, hopefully the sunlight is back again soon. Don't you love the angle of the furniture in this room? I think it might be open-plan, but I really love how interesting it looks. And the OCHRE light is gorgeous!

Took a gander at Green Wedding Shoes (via Unruly Things) today, I came across photos by Chris Craymer for his new book, Romance. I don't know about you but I really want this book! I don't usually buy a lot of photography books since they're so expensive but this one is full of images to die for! I just love the how cute and romantic they are. And they're all real-life couples too. Craymer says he wanted the book to be...

"essentially emotional rather than intellectual or fashion led. Romance for me was the perfect vehicle to make pictures which can covey a number of emotions...I wanted to try to make pictures which could be for example sexy, funny, joyful and also powerful and even soulful."

P.S. There's a picture of Hershey's kisses in the book which reminds me... this past weekend, instead of clinking glasses for the couple to kiss, there was a bag of silver and gold Hershey's kisses. If you picked gold the couple kissed, if you picked silver you had to kiss someone else.

I thought it was a cute idea!

Tarun Tahiliani is a Bollywood celebrity costume designer, who has always been in limelight. He started off as a fashion retailer by establishing his own fashion boutique in Mumbai. He made a step further starting his own brand label called ', Ahilian'. Tarun has designed apparels for the Indian celebrity beauties like Simi Garewal and Ramola Bachchan.

Extremely inspired by ethnic styles, fashion designer Tarun Tahiliani is of the opinion that Sari is the most elegant dress that has a great dazzling effect. He thinks it is the most apt apparel for sensuous look and brings out the beauty of India women in the most attractive manner. He experiments with colors and fabrics and comes up with his own unique classy designs. According to him Sari has the capability of arousing sensation.

He has lot of fascination for Chikan embroidery of Lucknow and is often incorporated in his designs. He also makes use of beads and semi precious stones to embellish the ensemble. He strongly believes that fashion is all about your comfort level with a particular attire. The
highlights of his designs are: block printing, bandhini styles, beautiful color combination and rich silhouette.

He has his unique style in designing and this is what sets him apart among other celebrity fashion designers.

Lately i've been thinking about black decor, with some blue and purple and a little Parisian influence. I'd like a black entrance table, with fresh flowers of course, and I love that leather occasional chair... the little details are great. Plus, don't you totally want that solid mirrored table? Definitely a great piece. I also really like the idea of creating little collections of souvenirs to put on display... a french book, a little eiffel tower and a vintage camera is a great way to remember a recent vaca... love it!

Wedding dress is main attraction of wedding ceremony and therefore wedding dress is designed according bride and groom personality. Now many fashion designers are engage to design modern and stylish wedding dress and at present lots of wedding dresses are easily available in the market. lazy summer sunday...

The wedding yesterday was wonderful! We got back late last night though, so i'm sleepy today... dreaming of a lazy summer sunday like this. It's rainy out right now but still relaxing, slowly getting my things together to head back home and do some more packing. Weekends are the best... oh and J.Crew pumps are amazing btw, I wore them all day yesterday and all night and my feet don't even hurt!
