The latest coming news is that the wait for Kareena Kapoor's waxwork will now be over as Kareena Kapoor will soon share space at Madame Tussauds Waxwork Museum in London with her fellow Indian stars Sachin Tendulkar, Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Hrithik Roshan .
As per the sources, fashion queen Kareena has already been waxed and she went to Madame Tussauds Waxwork Museum, London last night to check out her statue. And now the wait is over as her waxwork will be disclosed to public on August 15-16 ,the Indian Independence day weekend and this coincidentally matches with her boyfriend Saif's 41st birthday. Now, we can imagine, how important it would be for the actress as her waxwork will be shown on Saif's birthday. Further speculations have shown that four months ago, Madame Tussauds team flew down to Mumbai to take actress's measurements and other formalities.
On other side, the sizzling actress denied to speak out anything related to this to media but rumors are there that bebo wants to mark this special moment with her family members. She is planning to go along wit her parents, her sister Karisma, her niece Samaira and even wants Saif's family to join in spending the weekend with her and Saif in London and make it memorable.

summer craving...
Thanks to Coco+Kelley I now have a serious craving for thick, creamy, strawberry ice cream... doesn't it look sooo good? Check out the inspiration for an ice cream social here, and the recipe for the treat above here!

for the balcony...
Currently my balcony is still in a sad looking state from Winter's wrath, in need of a clean up and fresh new flowers. This year I really want to focus on plants and flowers with an English, wildflower kind of look in mind... mini blooms in all kinds of colours, and plants with tiny leaves and winding stems. I can only grow so much since I don't have direct sunlight except for early morning, but wouldn't it be nice to a little bit of a "secret garden" out there? We'll see what I can come up with!

in the kitchen...
There's something about a really rustic kitchen that just says home cooking and memories that last a lifetime. I love those thick cut countertops paired with a with farmer's sink. And isn't that double stove amazing? This seems like such an inviting space for everyone to gather!

tying the knot :: filler flowers...
While most people think baby's breath is just another filler flower for bigger bouquets, i've always liked it when grouped on it's own. So when I flipped to this spread in the latest Martha Stewart Weddings my jaw dropped! How completely stunning are these floral arrangments? Mixed with mini daises and Queen Anne's lace, baby's breath makes one of the most gorgeous arrangments i've ever seen. So in love with the height too! And the bonus? Those "filler flowers" are also inexpensive! What do you think?

Terminal Summer Beauty!!
British women will lose over £10,000,000 worth of liquid products this summer, with beauty products topping the list, by failing to meet airport regulations. Holidaymakers still unaware of what is allowed through security controls, lose a total of 3,823,429 items every year.
New research released today by QVC, one of the world's leading television and online retailers, reveals that since liquid security restrictions have been in place in the UK, British women have lost over 3,228,332 litres of liquid essentials.
Top confiscated items include perfumes, suncreams and deodorants with one in three (30 per cent) women naming losing beauty items to the security dustbin as one of their biggest summer annoyances.
Product exploding in suitcases or forgetting a key beauty item at home also gets British women flustered on their holidays and over two thirds of women (68 per cent) leave unused product behind at the end of the holiday in order to save space in their case.
Nearly half of women (47 per cent) admit to not being certain of current airport restrictions and over a third (39 per cent) claim to 'risk' taking products through security knowing they could be thrown away.
Sue Leeson from QVC comments:
'Strict airport security measures can prove problematic sometimes but they are in place for a valid reason. We sell many dedicated travel sets at this time of year which are perfect for shorter breaks as they take up less space and weight with many suitable for transporting in your hand luggage too. If you're planning a longer getaway and want to take full size items with you, products with screw caps tend to leak less. Even if you're convinced your products are air tight, I'd still recommend packing all your beauty essentials into a separate plastic bag within your main luggage to avoid any nasty surprises when you touch down."
Holidaying costs over a third of British women (33 per cent) twice what they expect in terms of shopping, with nearly half (46 per cent) admitting to losing key products that they have to re-buy abroad or in departures.
Nearly half (45 per cent) of British women say they are unsure how to pack beauty items and three quarters (74 per cent) worry about whether they have forgotten something vital. Rather than 'don't forget your toothbrush', the top items that women worried about forgetting were suncream, deodorant and moisturiser.
Advice from the Department for Transport about travelling with liquids:
Wherever possible you should pack liquids in your hold baggage, as there are restrictions on the amount you can take in your hand baggage. Liquids include:
. all drinks, including water, soup and syrups . cosmetics and toiletries, including creams, lotions, oils, perfumes, mascara and lipsticks . sprays, including shaving foam, hairspray and spray deodorants . pastes, including toothpaste . gels, including hair and shower gel . contact lens solution . any other solutions and items of similar consistency
If you need certain liquids during the flight, you can take them into the cabin in limited quantities as follows:
. containers must hold no more than 100ml . containers must be carried in a single, transparent, re-sealable plastic bag, which holds no more than a litre and measures approximately 20cm x 20cm . contents must fit comfortably inside the bag so it can be sealed . the bag must not be knotted or tied at the top . each passenger can carry only one of these bags . the bag must be presented for examination at the airport security point . Containers larger than 100ml (excluding essential medicines) will not be allowed through the security point even if they are only part full.
You are allowed to carry essential medicines of more than 100ml in your hand baggage, but you will need:
. prior approval from the airline and departure airport . supporting documentation from a relevant qualified medical professional (eg a letter from your doctor or prescription) . Remember to take only what you need for your journey. Extra supplies and larger containers of medicine can go in your hold baggage.

New Tantasia from jane iredale®
Imagine a world where the perfect tan is always at your fingertips. A world where you never have to worry about streaks on your skin, or unsightly marks on your towels. A world where sunless technology first senses, then enhances, your skin’s most flattering shade and with frequent use, builds a deep lasting tan.
Tantasia, from jane iredale, makes sun-kissed, seductive colour available to you at any time of the year in an easy, safe and moisturising formula that suits all skin types and that can be applied anywhere on the face or body.
No extra moisturiser is needed because the wheat protein provides natural hydration, there is no after-smell and the formulation contains a refreshing citrus scent.
There are four key ingredients in Tantasia that create a natural looking, long lasting tan:
• Acetyl Tyrosine & Monk’s Pepper (vitex agnus castus) stimulate melanin synthesis, allowing the shade to mimic your natural tanned colour. Acetyl Tyrosine accelerates the colouring response, while the beta-endorphin-like effect of Monk’s Pepper leads to melanin formation, with or without sun exposure*.
• Copper Gluconate is an enzymatic bio-activator, providing an additional source of tyrosine delivery to increase a more even colour.
• Dihydroxyacetone (DHA) is bonded to a vegetable natural amino acid compound. Advanced technology, using an amino acid that interacts with the skin’s proteins, activates a beautifully natural- appearing, intense colour change. When spread evenly, enzymes in the epidermis break down the amino acid which combines with the DHA for instant colour, compensating for any shade differences in skin areas.
Repeat applications daily until a golden tan has been achieved, then use it as frequently as you need to maintain colour.
Tantasia retails for £24.

Seems as if that time had gone when Indian women use to copy each and every bollywood fashion statement. All ladies remained eager to go for new Bollywood clothes whether its blue sari that beautiful Madhuri Dixit wore in "Hum Aapke Hain Kaun" or short kurti over salwar which was donned by Rani Mukerji in "Bunty Aur Babli". Not only the clothes, but their hair style..acessories..jewellery..all were allured by women in India.
But now As per a designer, influence of Hindi film industry fashion is decreasing day by day. Some finds extensive exposure to international fashion responsible for it. May be TV, fashion magazines or the internet, that are responsible in fading Bollywood stars appearance. Other says that Bollywood faternity doesnot have any eye catchy image whom people would look up to. People loosing their interest in imitating actors style statement. Today, all actor and actresses are over-exposed which fails to to absorb a particular trend. Kolkata-based designer Joy Mitra says that the point is there is no exclusivity and uniqueness any more,

Now such dreams have gone obsolete that people wants outfit of celebrities like Madhuri Dixit wore in many of her hits, Rani and Kajol in 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai'. There is no such craze for bollywood fashion among folks. In older times, women use to be big fan of such big bollywood names and wanted to be like them but now, no one find current celebrity that appealing.
statement piece...
It's always the simplest of things that make the ultimate statement, no? I definitely need to add a classic white shirt to my wardrobe... it's just about finding that perfect fit. Do you have a favourite white shirt?

neutral florals...
While flipping though the June issue of Style at Home this week, I fell completely in love with this gorgeous little built-in space. It's the perfect little nook for working away on your laptop or writing a letter on elegant stationery. The neutral shades paired with florals is just gorgeous, don't you think? Love the tiny little plant too, such a great touch.

hot & humid...
Hello everyone! Sorry for the lack of posting more often, but as we all do, i've just gotten so busy lately! It's almost Summer afterall... So many things are going on from wedding showers to baby showers, designing stationery and planning events. I'm hoping to slow things down a bit though, and get out to enjoy this sudden Summer weather that has hit us here in Ontario. It's bright out there and humid too, which means it's time for light, breezy outfits that are casual, yet chic. Loving these few picks from Madewell's Looks We Love... isn't that white, lacy romper perfect? Love the wedges too! I definitely need to find a pair of perfect Summer wedges... do you have a favourite this season?

summer moments...
There's something about being right by the water, don't you think? Whether it's a seaside town or lake shore view? I came across these gorgeous shots captured by A Field Journal today, and they totally evoke that feeling of calm and wonderfully fresh air... beautiful photos! I need to head somewhere sandy asap...
I've also been thinking about getting a new camera lately so I can capture more of my own summer moments. I don't think i'm quite ready for the DSLR route, but it would be nice to have a fairly good camera on hand, that's perfect for catching great shots for the blog! Does anyone have any recommendations? I'd appreciate it!

It is common that women of today’s world are conscious about what they wear and how they look. While it is easy for normal women to wear eye makeup, women who wear spectacles feel it is hard. In many cases they feel that spectacles as a hindrance and there is no need for any eye makeup. But, this concept is wrong! Spectacles and eye makeup suiting it is always a plus point!
1. If the frame of the spectacles is bright, put the accent on the eyelashes.
2. Use of thick coats of mascara gives volume to eyelashes and makes them fluffy.
3. Women with tortoise or horn-rimmed spectacles should work upon shape of eyebrows.
4. Proper usage of highlighters and eye shadow makes dull eyes look bright and attractive.
5. Always wear concealer to hide the dark spot or dark circles that you might have developed because of spectacles.
6. You can apply a little highlighter under your eyes to give it a full look.

1. When you want to have a radiant glowing skin naturally, the first thing that you should do is to drink plenty of water.
2. Especially 3-4 glasses of warm water will clean your stomach and will reflect in healthy skin. Taking warm lime juice with a table spoon of honey is also a good remedy.
3. Avoid using soap or face wash and instead choose a herbal powder based cleanser for your skin.
4. Using flour of green gram or besan as a paste is a good idea instead of soap.
5. You can try using Neem leaves and mint leaves to eradicate dullness from your face.
6. Orange peel or any citrus fruit peel powdered and mixed with rose water is a good for exfoliating dead cells and also a mild bleach to the skin.
7. If you have few ripen fruits like papaya, banana, apple or grapes, you can extract juice from them to apply a mask after a face wash for a glowing skin.
As this blog is especially for brides, I have a suggestion to make here. I would advise you all to use less of chemicals and go the nature’s way if you need a glow from inside.
classic bags...
Loving Fleabags new Spring/Summer lookbook, with their classic totes still being my favourite... there's something about that simplicity that is just so perfect, don't you think?
a little sparkle...
On this bright and sunny morning, i'm absolutely in awe of this beautiful bedroom recently featured on Decor8. It belongs to Tina Fussell from the Traveling Mama blog, and I love the floral duvet paired with a sparkly blanket. Isn't the texture of it just great? The brown accent pillow is perfect too. A nice touch!

Hot babe have given a tough competition to all the Leading bollywood ladies by displaying herself in sexy costumes from designer Eric Tibush's collection. The actress have not missing even single chance to flaunt herself and her fashionable style at prestigious Cannes festival. Her iconic looks and bold fashion statement, is apparently the most preferred actress when it comes to Hollywood media.
Seems as if She is not missing even single opportunity to flaunt herself and her fashionable style.
Mallika Sherawat ,made a fashion catastrophe on very first day of red carpet outing at Cannes wearing Eric Tibush’s see-through dress, did manage to grab all sort of eye popping at the film festival. From sexy see-through black dress didn't stop Mallika as she further was seen in white feathery costume designed by Eric Tibush, the same designer who designed black see through costume at the celebrity AMFAR (American Foundation for AIDS Research) dinner.
Actress is also seem increasing bonding with world famous actors like Robert De Niro and Sean Penn. A source says on her friendship with Robert De Niro and Sean Penn that Mallika seated with Robert and Sean at his table for some time and they looking quite friendly together sharing a few laughs. Robert was present with his daughter Drena, who too liked our bollywood diva Mallika.
