This past weekend I headed up to a little lakeside town called Kincardine, to visit a friend before Summer's end. I've been many times before as a child with my family, with memories of tall grass and sandy beaches, a beautiful cottage with little hideaway crawl spaces, and a back yard full of sand and forest where many an adventure was imagined. I loved the place, and was so happy to return this Summer! The water was an amazing shade of turquoise – so odd for a lake you'd think! The breeze was strong, the water was the perfect temperature, and the sun was shining all day. Even the country drive on the way up was wonderful. I knew it would be the perfect place to test out some more Diana Mini film and I'm so glad I did. I managed to capture some lovely colour and perfect memories of the day... I already can't wait to go back.
As we head into September tomorrow though, I hope you've all had a lovely Summer so far and enjoy the rest while you can!
Also today, I'm guest posting over on La Dolce Vita blog for Paloma's wonderful "10 Things I Can't Live Without" series. Check it out here. Thanks for including me Paloma!
