Bollywood actor Rahul Bose has participated in the relief efforts that followed the 2004 Boxing Day Tsunami. Rahul is also a former member of India's international rugby team named the National Orange Rugby Team. Being a social activist he founded an anti discriminaiton NGO, the foundation.
Bollywood actor Rahul Bose is closely associated with the Teach For India movement to eradicate inequity in education. In the year 2007, the talented actor became the first Indian Oxfam global ambassador. He is the founder and chairman of The Group of Groups, an umbrella organisation for 51 Mumbai charitable organisations and NGO. Rahul was also a vocal proponent of Narnada Bachao Andolan and its efforts to halt the construction of the Narvada dam.Presently, the actor is looking forward for his upcoming projects like 'Kuch Love Jaisa' and 'Click and Marry'. He is going to play the role of Arindam in his another forthcoming project 'Bits and Pieces'.
