flora & fauna...

After a full week of rain, we finally had a little sunshine this weekend (amongst a few summer storms), but it's easy to see that everything is suddenly growing and green! There's new buds and leaves on the trees, bright green lawns, and flowers popping everywhere as people tend to their gardens. I think it's finally time to add some flowers to my balcony, in hopes that it doesn't turn cold again... although i'd love to have a little private garden like above. Wouldn't that be great to spend lazy Summer days relaxing in?

I hope you all had a lovely weekend, and a long one here in Canada! We made some party plans with family to celebrate our engagement, and I finally got some time with my best friend. All in all, a good weekend... and yippee for a four-day work week!
