For those of you in Canada and the U.S. I hope you're enjoying a lovely, Labour Day long weekend... it's so nice to have another day off, even if it is chillier than expected. Fall sure did pick one of the weekends everyone would notice! The trees have slowly started to change colour with bits of red and yellow here and there, and there's definitely a slight crisp to the air...
After a weekend of some Fall shopping, sipping apple cider and baking apple pie, I'm of to my hometown for a birthday/send-off dinner at my boyfriend's house. I recently shot these photos in his parent's backyard, just as the sun was about to go down... perfectly capturing the last of that strong Summer light. I love the last – an experiment of shooting directly in the sunlight. Now let's hope some of that sunlight comes out to play today!
